If you've chosen a rail inclusive package we also include: * Your rail fare direct to York rail station and baggage transfer. All accommodation is suitably certified to a high standard, run by friendly local people and approved by Visit York.. York has a great variety of cycle routes both in and out of the city catering for all levels of cyclist, and is proud of its reputation as the UK's Premier Cycling City. We provide you with a selection of routes when you arrive so that you can plan your rides according to how you feel, what the weather is like or what you would like to see. Of course you don't have to ride every day, its up to you, and there's plenty to see on a walk round the city centre or a boat trip along the river Ouse. Each route gives details of distances along the way with a large scale map and also detailed written instructions so you won't get lost. You'll also find we've marked lots of places where you can stop for a pub lunch, good picnic spots and also interesting places to visit. Your accommodation will be close to or on one of York's comprehensive network of cycle lanes so you can set off straight away each morning. If you'd like to visit a particular place or ride a special route just let us know beforehand and we'll prepare a Guide for you. | ||||||

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
You don't have to wear lycra to enjoy our cycle tours, just comfortable clothing and sensible shoes. Gloves and glasses to keep the dust (and sun) out of your eyes are also a good idea. You'll be able to set off straight away when you arrive while we take care of your bags. A small day pack is useful to carry any extra clothing, camera, picnic etc. if you decide to go for a walk - and whatever the forecast says it's worth packing a lightweight waterproof just in case.

We use the Trek T10, a comfortable all round hybrid bike, and the easy to use grip shift gears make cycling fun.
Each bike comes complete with a handlebar bag, water bottle cage, helmet and bike lock.
