Come and enjoy a short break in Bowland where you'll find fantastic cycling, wonderful countryside and fine food and ale. This tour will introduce you to some of the best of Bowland's unspoilt village pubs where you can sample locally brewed ale, visit the mini-brewery at Bashall Barn and join in the craic as the locals put the world to rights.

Starting from Settle follow a gentle route on quiet country lanes through Bolton by Bowland and Waddington, where you have to make you first agonising decision Higher Buck or Waddington Arms? Next day is a leisurely ramble around the village of Chipping and into the Hodder valley for your second night stop. Your final day leads further along the beautiful Hodder Valley through Dunsop Bridge, Newton and Slaidburn, and continues with a choice of route back to Settle. If you like you can also begin your tour in Clitheroe, which has exscellent rail connections with Blackburn, Preston and Manchester.

Our detailed route map will lead you to each day's destination, with lots of stops along the way to explore Bowland villages and sample the local fare. We deliver your bags to your evening's stop and we're happy to collect any larger purchases you've bought along the way, and deliver those too, so you don't have to worry about carrying them on your bike.
