Discover Bowland on two wheels with our two day tour of villages and hidden valleys, with an optional route across Crutchember Fell and Bowland Knotts for the chance to see the iconic Bowland Hen Harriers.

Our route takes you via quiet country lanes along the edge of Waddington Fell, through Bolton by Bowland and Waddington, and into the Upper Ribble Valley. Your overnight stay is in the Bashall Eaves/Clitheroe area where you can sample the local food and drink before settling down for the night. Next day you ride through the beautiful Hodder Valley past Whitewell, Dunsop Bridge (which is know as the centre of the UK) and Slaidburn, where you have a choice of route back to Settle. If you like you can also begin your tour in Clitheroe, which has exscellent rail connections with Blackburn, Preston and Manchester.

This tour allows for plenty of stops along the way with time to explore the villages, have a picnic by one of the many streams and enjoy the wonderful views. As well as bringing your bags along to your next evening's stop we are happy to collect any of your larger purchases from Bashall Barn, and other selected outlets, and bring them along too, so you don't have to worry about carrying them on your bike.
